Wharfie, it was Brandon who couldn't meet the May 2021 deadline. It was Brandon who unilaterally delayed the deadline to September 11, thereby prompting the Taliban to attack. It was Brandon who then discovered that he could indeed run with his tail between his legs, and that he had less power in Afghanistan to set time tables than he estimated.
