Not really. That was more of a trivia question. I am considering the company for investment though.

Two questions:

1. What is the historical range of PEs for this stock?


Average P/E

1987 - 1991 : 18.5
1992 - 1996 : 22.5
1987 - 1996 : 20.5

Currently, I think the P/E is around 25.

2. Will the FTC action/settlement and other recent "non-recurring" charges impact the company's future performance?

I am not sure. However, I plan to DCA into this every year for at least 5 years, and frankly, I don't think the charges will have any impact in the long-term scenario (which, by my definition, is 5 years and beyond).
