More and more mining and construction equipment runs on electrons. And that results in burning fewer and fewer fossil fuels. Sorry bud, its a terminal situation. Just look at all the coal fired generation being retired here in the U.S. and other countries around the world. It's renewables baby! And they continue to get cheaper every day... For fossil fuels that's impossible. Finite, a declining resource base.
