Dear Byron: The reporter for Business Week asked what was going on with "Microsoft investing in EarthLink"? I flatly refuted such speculation and went on at great length how Microsoft was an important technology partner (we use Internet Explorer in Total Access and Front Page extensions in our we hosting), that Microsoft was an important source of new customers (we get about 400 new customers per week from their referral server) and that increasingly, Microsoft was an important destination on the Internet for original content (ie. MSNBC). I closed by stating that we would be moving forward with Microsoft on many fronts. Nice twist of words!! Rest assured that all of EarthLink's staff are working hard to deserve the rating PC Magazine gave us as their top ISP and that we are striving diligently to achieve profitability. cgb
