Actually, a far healthier sign for this market is an accumulation of these periodic "gut checks", where there are very short term drops of 2% - 5%. Even if the drop is over a period of a couple of hours.

Anyway, Elaine made her call back in July. Now it's December - over 5 months later. She can, in my opinion, no longer claim that her indicators were correct. We can't give Granville any credit for the '87 drop, since he called it in 1982.
