Albert, <we were talking about market share. It is unclear that the unit shipments would be any higher this quarter. If total shipments is lower and amd would maintain the same unit shipments then that means market share gains. If the total shipments are lower and amd's shipments are lower then that does not say much about market share. OTOH if total unit shipments are higher and amd's are lower or at the same levels then amd lost market share.> Who exactly provides the "total shipment" number? Is it accurate given the fact that last quarter AMD's, Intel's and the total shipment numbers did not equate? IMHO, you and many analysts are placing too much faith in the accuracy of this number, thus the conspiracy and channel stuffing theories. If anyone has an accurate number it is probably Intel, since they are 75% of the market. SK
