The Republican ideas are not prudent and not in the best inerest of the people. their mantra is privatize everything. That is not in the best interst of the people.

But that is the fight and the difference between right and left ideas about SS and medicare. We will fight privatizing either. changing yes, but not privatizing it.

I think the women will be our allies.

<<I haven't heard anyone suggest getting rid of them, but they must change. Demographics have put all 3 on unsustainable tracks. If unchanged, they will consume the entire budget in about 30 years. The necessary changes will be less generous, there is no other way. Perhaps the eligibility ages need to increase, perhaps means testing is required, but significant reductions in benefits are necessary. Only a fool will deny that.

Any time the R's suggest a change, the D's demagogue about ending the programs and killing old ladies, just like you have been doing.
