Again you bring up only France, as if they speak for the Rest of Us They think they do. And they have a vote in the UNSC, so if UN approval is the be-all-and-end-all, they have a veto. look at the support you had going into Afghanistan It was limited as I recall. The UN said okay, but the left (which included most voices from Europe) wailed about "Afghanistan, Death of Empires" and predicted deaths in the millions. There is a very strong pacifist streak in both Canada and Europe, as far as I can tell.
