What nonsense! I am sure you are a troll. The imac depends on nothing, except $1300 and an ISP.

1) Buy one
2) Plug in the power
3) Plug in the phone
4) Surf the net, send an email or fax.

DONE! If you want to do more than that (and that is A LOT), you already have a computer.

The only thing the imac needs is a USB Joystick to play games- and that is so easy that you need not worry for one additional second.
