oops forgot the :) When Lucas decided to put together a computer graphics shop in the early 70's, he raided NYIT and Utah and hired many of the faculty who pioneered computer graphics. Ed Catmull and friends are 25 to 30 year vets in defining the field, SGI, has been around for 10 years. remember, Pixar used to build graphics workstations (Sun based) that competed with SGI. vincent
