DS, you are right about JDSU. What's annoying to me about this is that we have been discussing its proper classification for months now, and the large majority of knowledgeable observers agree on both the basic facts and the conclusion: JDSU is a King, albeit a hairy one. As I've said before, unless new info surfaces, there seems little to be gained from yet more rounds of the discussion. (This is the kind of issue--like, say, Q's gorilla status--where, IMO, we should simply direct newcomers to search the archives.) Grape didn't even do his home-board homework, or else he would have seen the Fool exchanges on precisely this subject not more than a few weeks ago, in response to my clearly specified query for a ruling on the issue from the few Fools knowledgeable about both JDSU and the game. As Merlin says, however, the Fool is an outstandingly honest and above-board organization. It's a great place for new investors to learn. tekboy/Ares
