Jim, <I would think that in order to take these factions out, a number of innocent people might be taken with them. If that happens some people even in this country will be outraged...> Not many, I'd imagine. Heck, even America's allies and those neutral to America would tolerate a little excessive force, given the horrifying scope of this attack. Those who wouldn't are those who would join the Palestinians dancing in the streets anyway. And I doubt they'd get much world sympathy if they were to eat a few cruise missiles lobbed their way. Heck, I'm sure if Terrorism were a nation, we would nuke it to glass without any hesitation. But I don't think even that sort of clear-cut vengeance would fill the void left by all of this. More than retaliation, America needs to find its national spirit again. Tenchusatsu
