Hi John,..*OT* You're right, the Braves came to life after the All Star break and after they got Hernandez and Mulholland.<g> And after Bobby finally figured out to play Gerald at lead-off and Hernandez at SS. Never thought they'd sweep the Mets though! That was a huge surprise, almost like the Mets gave it away. Last Sunday was very busy switching between the Ryder Cup and the Braves - they both clinched about the same time. <vbg> Looking forward to the playoffs. Would like to see the Astros win the Central as I like Biggio, Bagwell, Bell and Dirker. I think our toughest fight will be against the Diamondbacks, especially when they pitch Randy Johnson. For the World Series I think it would be more fun to play the Rangers than the Yanks. JMO <g> Red Sox clinched the AL wild card yesterday! We should have gotten Pedro when the Expos had their fire sale! <g> I liked your scenario of events going forward, i.e. Dell, TYX, etc. Needless to say we still disagree about the 'slowing' bit though. <g> (TYX above 6% didn't slow down housing last year)!
