John, thanks for posting that article. Kissinger makes the point that so many of the "apologists" can't figure out: you have to destroy the system that produces the terrorists - not simply go after the terrorists. Limiting the response to just those "directly" responsible (from a misplaced sense of justice) leaves the underlying root in place, which will grow back.

Hiroshima was appropriate; Kabul/Bagdad would be too.
