In the last 2 paragraphs of that post -- I was being facetious -- I regard faith in AG's printing or the idea that one can discern what financial houses will do given "reading the tape" as foolhardy. I think the 2 main issue which will affect the financial markets this year are:
1) profit collapse -- not recognition per se -- but the feedback of the same
and
2) debt implosion -- restriction of credit and the undesirability of the same == very rapid contraction.

The quote by SOROS posted above -- about the nonlinear feedback in the market is appropriate -- we've seen only one side and just hints of another side. I believe we'll see the other side of the coin this year.
