thanks for sharing. I never regret quitting my job over a decade ago, i get so much back out of caring and those big smiles. the social workers and aide used to be concerned about me not getting out but now realize i do not have a need to get out, socialize, etc. my life is fullfilled at this time. One interesting comment two weeks ago by one of the hospice persons. She hasn't let go yet, because she is concerned what you will do with yourself after she is gone. that took me back a bit, their observations are sometimes out in left field but this one is close to home. I will have a huge vacuum to fill. However, my nature is to get involved in something, change, create whatever not live in the past. I expect she is still surviving because of the care not the will or concern of others. She has passed the stage of they cannot live without me. gggg i hope the white sox won, but then i bet it didn't really matter.
