Congress overreacted in creating a costly, inflexible, centralized system for airport screening. We made the same mistake when we created Department of Homeland Security and a third time when we created the new intelligence czar. American politicians have always centralized (at great cost) error making in an effort to achieve the unachievable...Perfection in all public matters.
