Microsoft Corp. expects to lose $750 million on its Xbox gaming console in the current fiscal year ending June 30, according to a report published yesterday in computer industry magazine "Red Herring." The company will lose another $1.1 billion on the fledgling effort in the next fiscal year, the report said, citing "a source familiar with the matter." Microsoft spokeswoman Bridgitt Arnold declined to comment.
