Don't know whether they just under ordered, but on the web, they have wait time of 3 weeks. Not bad. I think that apple shouldn't underestimate the surface. It looks like a sturdy design. I haven't touched one yet, but I know that this is the only competition worth beating. Kindle and other android tablets seem too poorly made for my taste.
