Solar irradiance is the flux of energy from the sun hitting the surface of the earth... The Sun's energy is absorbed on Earth's surface and radiated back into space (i.e. black body radiation, look up Planck's equation). The earth traps some of that energy radiated back in its atmosphere and reduces the heat loss (it's called the greenhouse effect). If the solar radiance is constant then there's no cooling or heating due to it's variance. Your chart shows a slight increase in energy flux due the suns irradiance INCREASING. It also shows a net INCREASE in the greenhouse effect due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases (i.e. CO2 and CH4). So the net effect is WARMING. You seem to think that the small change in irradiance is cancelling out the greenhouse effect
Spot on.

You nailed down the physics.

Without some greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere Earth would be a snowball.
