switches have ports. there are so many ports in each switch.

if ford had 4 seats in a car and reported this as selling 4 cars, when they meant they sold 1 car, with 4 seats.

even with this correction it is still a major announcement. i would bet any analyst who knows the technology would have wondered if the announcement meant ports and not switches. it would have been phenominal amount of switches to install.
