Chris, this is not magic. We can already do this. NTAP filers can be NAS subsystems to virually any SAN. In fact, there are several customers running NTAP filers on EMC SANs.

You may recall that Dan W mentioned the logical melding of the two technologies in the last cc. He stated something like "these to technologies are already compatible. We can put filers on SANs." (or words to that effect).

Sure is a lot of jumping on the bandwagon all of a sudden, isn't there? That is good for NTAP and EMC, imo.
