Hi Steve + PK,
I just got back this evening from skiing in Steamboat and (very intentionally) haven't looked at the market for a week. We had fantastic spring skiing...that is if you like it very sunny and don't mind crusty mornings and sloppy, heavy snow in the afternoons!

I saw the headline about how the market rallied and I can only assume we saw a technical bounce from an oversold condition. I'll need a few days to catch up but I don't think this market is out of trouble just yet. Too many factors weighing heavily on the economy and, from what I can tell, sentiment is still very negative overall. Probably the start of a "contrarian" setup here but I wouldn't want to give advice without some catching up.

Yes, there is some "bottom fishing" value in some of the small/mid cap semis... The caveat here is that one would need a long term view to get "bullish" here from what I've been seeing. I do like PK's IPPs for the long haul. I think they have been (somewhat unfairly) whipped to death. Kinda similar to some of the semi's that are selling at a fraction of book, even though they still have valuable products.

I'm curious as to which companies you'd like to bottom fish, Steve. I've been watching the industry (as a whole) pretty closely but I haven't really been digging into the fundies of that many specific companies. It's probably a good time to start a list of candidates for the next up cycle.
