HISC - Homeland Integrated Security Systems Completes Phase II Testing at Savannah's Garden City Terminal

ASHEVILLE, N.C., May 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Other OTC:HISC.PK - News) announced today that it has completed Phase II of the Savannah Port Project.

According to Ian Riley, CTO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (HISS), ``Phase II was designed to test system capacity and long term data collection, as well as hardware and software performance. Phase II has exceeded all our expectations.'


The project at the Savannah Port is being conducted in conjunction with Georgia Tech and the Maritime Logistics Innovation Center (MLIC). The project consists of three phases. Phase I, which has been completed, was designed to confirm service performance and satellite strength. Phase III, will consist of GIS mapping and software finalizations. It will incorporate tracking devices deployed both on the port and in the immediate area surrounding the port.

Following Phase III, HISS will participate with Georgia Tech and MLIC in documenting the results in a ``White Paper.' The project ``White Paper' will be distributed to over 350 major ocean ports, and over 175 major commercial river ports, as well as major airports and other secured facilities.

According to Fred Wicks, COO of HISS, ``Our experience on the Garden City Port has demonstrated that our hardware and software systems will meet or exceed all expectations. The strength of the tests has proven that we have a mature concept that can be applied in a variety of markets. We expect to rapidly expand our marketing efforts and dramatically increase sales.'
