The Trumpturds here are all on his donation list .... you think they'd vomit this crap out and NOT give to him. When he sends them begging letters multiple times a day? I challenge them to reveal how much they;ve given to their Turd Lord.

Psychologically this gives them a bigger reason to stay loyal to the monster. They've invested so much in him ... its called the sunk cost effect.

The Sunk Cost Effect is a principle that supports the notion that people can sometimes be influenced into making irrational decisions based on a perceived loss of time, money or effort that they have already invested into a product or service and it’s development 1 2 3 4. The effect is characterized by an increased tendency to reinvest in a venture following an initial, irretrievable investment 4.

The sunk cost fallacy is a cognitive bias that makes you feel as if you should continue pouring money, time, or effort into a situation since you’ve already “sunk” so much into it already. This perceived sunk cost makes it difficult to walk away from the situation since you don’t want to see your resources wasted.

When falling prey to sunk cost fallacy, “the impact of loss feels worse than the prospect of gain, so we keep making decisions based on past costs instead of future costs and benefits,” explains Yalda Safai, MD, MPH is a psychiatrist in New York City.
