I feel it is my duty being a member of the SI community to let my fellow SIERs know that I had a very bad experience with CDNW over the holiday season. I purchased 6 cd's from them on Dec 9, 1999. A email was sent out on Dec 13 informing me that the 5 cd's were sent out via UPS ground and a tracking number was included in the email. Well, the tracking number was wrong, so I couldn't track the package. On Dec 22, I emailed CDNW and asked where the cd's were, I got a mail 5 days later back stating they would look for them. To make a long story short, after repeatedly asked for my money back, I finally got a package today, Jan. 11, 2,000. Guess what? There are only 4 cd's in the package.
A couple things bothered me:
1. my emails were either not answered or took them at least 5 days to give me a answer.
2. The customer service people were not telling me the truth.
3. I got short changed on the goods shipped.
As investment goes, I hope what happened to me was an exception, (but I have my doubts), I do wish my fellow SIERs can draw their own conclusions from my experience
