Koan - I noodle that constantly ..... dumb ass 2 cents ... (bear with me - I have to simply so that I can see it) Its 1 equation: INFLOWS - OUTFLOWS = DIFFERENCE right now its INFLOWS - OUTFLOWS = DEFICITS in bear market (recession) SMALLER INFLOWS - SAME OUTFLOWS = BIGGER DEFICITS and YES ..... who will finance this ....? more deeply or perhaps ill thought out are these inconsistancies ... logic says to REDUCE the DEFICITS REDUCE the OUTFLOWS .... do that and you INCREASE the magnitude of the recession (via multiplier effect)... by reducing INFLOWS even more .... In short - I have no idea where this is going ... and I still don't know: How does gold behave in a bear market? regards, John
