Chuck power in the north east is generated with oil. The EPA makes it virtually impossible to build a coal plant these days. Generation and transmission facilities are all near capacity A great deal of power in the northeast is generated by nuclear and hydro and energy coming from Canada. Generation is not near capacity except during unusual periods. Generators are being sold at fairly cheap prices.
