I dont think obama believes wrights stuff but i have to believe he tolerated hate speech much more than i would have and particularly if he brought his kids to church. Telling 8 year olds God Damn USA and the USKKKA is disgusting and i sat there with my two young kids, there is no way i would be back. Do i understand from where wrights view originate? Certainly. Do i understand obamas nearly 20 year membership in that church? Not really. Why would you hide that from your kids? Hell, they are going to hear crazy opinions all their lives. We all hear crazy opinions... so? There was nothing I used to like better than going to a square in Chicago in the old days when people actually got up on "soap boxes" and ranted their crazy opinions. It was fun and sometimes they challenged your beliefs. This is a tempest in a teapot. The right wing nuts beating a dead horse... they will be talking about this for the next ten years no matter who is President.
