I'm coming to this discussion late, but I have to say I had no problem with your post, John. It wasn't specific to Apple, but neither was it political. You were just stating facts.
I just wanted to chime in here, as this has been a source of confusion before. I didn't see his post as political by any stretch of the imagination. It was obvious from the get go that he was responding to the question of causes for the market sell off, especially in AAPL.

I totally agree with keeping political banter out of the thread, but just because the information presented has political origins doesn't make it political banter. To omit such information from market analysis is akin to donning blinkers for the thread and could lead to inaccurate conclusions and lost opportunities.

Sorry Clean. Have to side with John on this.
