Wharfie, it's clear to me that PooTin wants Trump to win, but does Saudi Arabia want that? Hard to say.

On the surface, I think the Saudis definitely prefer Trump Inc. to be back in the White House, but I don't think they're terribly uncomfortable with Brandon staying, either.

Going deeper, however, I don't think the Saudis relish the idea of global instability as a result of the U.S. backing away from its foreign entanglements. That would only make them even more dependent on the U.S. for military assistance.

Unless they have a clear plan toward moving away from dependence on the U.S., I don't think the Saudis are trying all that hard to get Trump back into office.
