The point is, Eric, that because of the inherent inconvenience in charging EVs, the cost of building all of these EV charging stations will be much, much higher than that of gas stations.

Gas stations are all over the place and in huge supply because any mom-n-pop can set one up.

If EV charging stations were just as easy to set up as gas stations, we would have them all over the place now, and I wouldn't have to use apps just to find the nearest charger (that may or may not be functional, mind you).

But nope, they're much more expensive, and they need to offer more services just to make up for the fact that charging still takes 15-30 minutes at best.

This is a logistical nightmare, one that you environ-mentalists think will magically go away as people simply demand more and more EVs.

It isn't happening.
