Indeed. Often people who have gone through tough times come out and become wonderful people. They have learned valuable lessons from life. But then there are the hypocrites who say one thing, believe in something else, and act in whatever way expedient to improve their circumstances. Worst of all are the ones that get get away with stuff, feel no remorse, beccome cynical, see evil in all others, and never do the hard work to continue learning and improve themselves. They will do what ever is easy, grab the glory in the limelight and acquire as much wealth as they can.
