GST, 1) the valuation methodology proposed (Black-Scholes)assumes the options can be sold and that is clearly not the case here as they may ONLY be exercised or abandoned to expiration; and 2) you haven't addressed the issue of whether expenses are subsequently reduced when the options become less valuable or worthless.

Seems to me you are only out to financially punish issuers of options rather than finding an equitable solution that helps investors better understand the true economic profits of businesses.

At best, since no one, in Washington or Wall Street at least, has proposed a good solution, you are grasping for ANY solution without regard to the workability, fairness or potential consequences. You should be in Congress. ;-)
