He's not doing "whatever he wants"... he's followed U.S. instructions many times, even when they weren't wise. In fact, yesterday, he had the IDF pull out of Tulkarem and Qalqilya, two West Bank towns which are home to many terrorists, just to try to please the Americans by saying, "we'll pull out, but it'll be slowly"... well, the Haifa bus bomber this morning- where was he from? Tulkarem. Israel pulled out prematurely, and voila...

Z, the Israelis themselves said those two towns were clean now that they had gone through them......that's why no one was surprised when they pulled out from them. In fact, I suspect there is little if any concern on the part of Sharon re the Bush edict.

That edict was clear.......pull out from the West Bank ASAP. The Israeli response...they pulled out from two towns and moved those soldiers to somewhere else in the West Bank. That's not pulling back from the West Bank.....that's realigning your men and equipment for maximum effect. The US knows that but what can the US do.......shoot Sharon, nuke Israel....not likely. And the Israelis know that. Its a mess and the US is damned either way.

Besides, how could there have been a suicide bomber in a civilian setting. You and others repeatedly pointed out that the current incursion into the West Bank by the Israelis stopped all that. There must be some mistake. There can be no more suicide bombings.........the Israeli war machine has spoken.
