And I've said for some time that if Biden REALLY wanted more US energy independence, he would fist bump the US energy producers rather than the Saudis AND make a big deal out of PROMISING to veto any windfall profits legislation.

He would make it clear that higher stock prices are what it will take to bail out my blue state and others who have gargantuan under funded pension debt. Without higher stock prices, the blue states will have to SLASH services and become shitholes like Oakland and SF where crime and other issues are driving out the working class and now many tech workers want to work from home rather than show up at the offices.
