Our drug policies are building the cartels just as prohibition built the Mafia.
Funny, because one state tried to reverse the prohibition on drugs. Look where that got them:

Go figure. Instead of reducing illicit drug use, the law actually exacerbated it.

Maybe prohibition is irrelevant.
