Second to the economy, war is definitely on people's minds. There are growing "rumors" of a coup in Saudi Arabia. Tension in the middle east could not be much higher. And remember the days when we debated what to do about the surplus? Combine a sagging economy, a post-bubble stock market and America expanding its military punch all over the world, not to mention the costs of domestic security and the risks of terrorism and the prospects for a Brazialian default -- roll it all up and you have no reason to be in stocks.
