Martin, Sorry I don't have the link, but I read an article a while ago that pointed to heat problems with EDGE that for the present haven't been overcome. I.e., as they raise the speed for EDGE, the chips start generating too much heat. That has implications for long-term reliablity as well has power use, I believe. Maybe Lindy was referring to this, and other issues, when he pointed the difference between the lab and the real world. And, maybe he'll amplify.
