I love horror movies as long as it's all stupid adults getting their throats sucked on or their guts ripped out, but can't watch any movie about animals or small children. Those are terrible memories and I'm not surprised they would show up in your dreams. Are they like reruns of the event or do they take different guises? How old are your children now? I have the two boys, 15 and 17, and they're still my babies. I've been on a hunt for that book and can't find it. It's by a native American and is about the myths and symbols of our lives and finding ourselves. The Dark Man represented a bunch of different things, which of course have left me. Mostly now I'm just irritated that the one book i want to locate has disappeared. But I'm finding some others that I never read and making a new stack next to the bedside table.
