This is something I came across, trying to explain Bush's mideast policy: BUSH HAGGLES IN THE MIDEAST BAZAAR nypost.com; Joe, I hope they're right. Its clear that we have to match, set and whatever the Mid East games to win with them. However, I have to say that CNBC is showing Powell now is in Jordan......apparently he couldn't get a direct flight to Tel Aviv <g>......and he's looking pretty lame. The Israelis have helped us put ourselves in an awkward spot. But then there is nothing nice about this whole situation. ted
