Cindy,

I agree with some of your concerns, particularly regarding maintenance issues. However, when it comes to where to place the machines, the possibilities are unlimited. Like you said, airports would not be a great place for the machines because fries are readily available at the fast food joints there. Also, I've never tried microwaved fries, so I couldn't make a comparison.

Consider this, I feel these machines not only provide convenience of french fries served quickly and at a low price, but also some entertainment/curiosity value. For example, have you seen those gumball machines that send the product through a Mouse Trap type of game? The Tasty Fries machine is a good technological feat (they have a patent on the design, right?).

On a side note, I think another good idea that TFRY can incorporate in their machines is to provide a selection of various dipping sauces. It might sound corny, but I've heard of a very successful hole in the wall in the East Coast that sell nothing but french fries with over 30 (or something) various dipping sauces. It could become a very popular idea. Let's face it, french fries are one of the most popular snacks/side orders in the world.

I understand your food safety and maintenance concerns. But I believe everything has been properly addressed and taken care of already. Can someone back me up on this? It's been so long since these kinds of questions have come up so I forget...

Ahmed
