FWIW,one of the nicest aspects of last year's gathering in Vegas was that it also served as a vacation of sorts. Our real 'business' was concluded within a single day, and the balance of the time was spent at The Money Show, our fabulous social gathering(s), shows and all of the other nice things available to see and do in that town.
From an expense standpoint (to Keith's point), I thought that we pretty well agreed last year that from airfare to accommodations, Las Vegas was the best all around value (except maybe for Elkhart Lake <ggg>). We ended up overdoing the room thing, but I chalked that up to first time stuff. I wasn't even all that disappointed in our meeting room cost (contribution per attendee).
In any event, we do need to pin this down. socal, Jack, Robert G., Barry, RFH, Doug, Bill, etc. Care to weigh in?
