AMD will officially launch Hammer in the second half of 2002, with shipments slated for 2003 or so, Ruiz said in a recent interview with SBN.

That means if the schedule doesn't slip any more they will do a stealth intro at the end of next year and release sometime in 2003, maybe...

To get back on track, AMD will roll out its Athlon XP line, which is based on a new and improved 0.18-micron core. "We will start making our 0.13-micron processors next quarter," he said. Does this mean what I think it does?

Depending on when he made that statement, sounds like they will start wafers sometime in Q1'02 and have product in Q2, maybe.
