Re: Intel claims to have exceeded their last quarter's shipment

Please post a link where an Intel spokesman stated how many many CPU's it shipped this quarter (as AMD did) or last quarter (as AMD did).

Intel described 1.13GHZ PIIIs as shipping in "volume" from several OEMs after the chip was released.

When it was recalled, it was found that the actual number of systems shipped after several months of "volume" was fewer than 200.

It would appear that "volume" to Intel is 8 systems per week, per OEM.

Intel may not lie, but they stretch the meaning of words to an extent that would shock and embarrass Bill Clinton.
