Lizzie, you clearly underestimate how many retirment investors, your "average people," were and remained in money market and bond funds throughout the 1990's and right up to this evening. methinks you've been watching too many hysterical news reporters hype the dummies at Enron who bet thier retirments on their corrupt bosses, and you're extrapolating that to all mom and pop retirment investors. So contrary to your misunderstanding, the vast majority will be fine, thanks! If you get beyond the software pimps and the SV jetset, you'll discover I'm correct. Victor
