One more thing that's interesting. Chris also vehemently denied he was Mexican. No, no. He was "Spanish". That guy has so much Indian blood in him it's a wonder he doesn't do a war whoop down the aisles.

Chris used to get in fights with Rudy, the other obvious Indian-extraction Mexican, and my right hand man Tomas, a Puerto Rican. They all used to fight amongst themselves like cats and dogs. All good natured poking, though. :)

EDIT: The (questionably legal) Mexican immigrants Kristel worked with referred to Puerto Ricans in a derogatory manner suggesting they were white people with tans.
