A seeker of truth I am - and that thread was to basically see if anyone else thought those quotes, copied from SI's overview of ASND (where comments are invited), were as outrageous and false as I happen to believe them to be. You'll note I quoted the author (by copying) and then asked what others thought about the ideas expressed by that "long buster", his chosen handle. I was hoping he'd get blasted and would come in to make his/her own defense but no such luck so far. Seems hit-and-runnish to me. As for where I satnd check out my other postings and you'll see I'm an ardent admirer of Ascend's adaptability, management skills, nimbleness in maintaining their market share, and the generally high regard their users have for the products and the company and the free support it gives them. Even with ASND taking another hit Thursday, the entire Internet sector suffered and I still have faith that the stock will maintain its strength overall in comparison to many others. Some unfounded rumors are piping up, it seems and it could be that some nasties are out to deflate Ascend's balloon. I hope a raid insn't about to happen... Dee Jay
