An insightful post from another MRVC thread:
I havent posted in a while, because I really had absolutely nothing substantial to add. This post will be no different, I still have nothing substantial to add. I sat back today reading through some earlier posts, and a few things glared out. First, MRVC has been consistantly and steadily improving sales/earnings. They have new alliances with the big boys. They have been a R&D leader in their industry and continue on that same path with the 1 gig switch due out in a few months, not to mention this being their first full quarter of income with the MegaSwitch II. Patents are in the works, and more than likely more to come considering R&D has a knack of pumping out new or improved switches every so often. We are also looking at a company that has global sales near 40%, and may increase with the new alliance with Fujitsu. However the one thing we overlook from time to time is management. The management/officers at MRVC have been the true leaders. They are the one's who put the puzzle pieces together, and they keep adding up. Without the management's vision, we would not be seeing the product we have today, nor the increases in earnings. Without the kind of management we have now, we probably wouldnt have been given a second look by Intel or Fujitsu, and our global sales would not be anywhere near what they are at this time. For those of us fortunate enough to have had a few words with our CEO, have all said virtually the same thing.... This guy is as awesome as the company. When a lot of us bought into MRV we had an idea that the company was heading in the right direction, and it isnt too difficult to see who has got us here. MRV has made my portfolio. I think this year I'll send a Christmas card. Sam |
