What I never like is that the media has a dearth of correspndents over there. I remember constant images of Vietnam on television. Now you are lucky to get a live report once a week on the major networks. I can't discern the truth of what is really happening over there anymore. I agree, and I'm not sure why it's like this. Is it the administration's policies? Or the preference of the press? In any case, I've found a blog which is written by a young woman who lives in Baghdad.
